Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the LoveDoc application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LoveDoc Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the App. Please read them carefully.

We may revise and update these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them, and apply to all access to and use of the App thereafter.

Your continued use of the App following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes. You are expected to check this page from time to time so you are aware of any changes, as they are binding on you.

To access the App, you may be asked to provide certain registration details or other information. It is a condition of your use of the App that all the information you provide is correct, current, and complete.

You are responsible for:

• Making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to the App.
• Ensuring that all persons who access the App through your device are aware of these Terms and comply with them.

To protect your account, keep your password confidential. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your username or password or any other breach of security. You also agree to ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session.

LoveDoc is an AI relationship coaching application that provides personal chat, couples chat, daily check-ins, and relationship metrics features. The App uses artificial intelligence to offer guidance on communication, conflict resolution, and relationship dynamics.

You understand and agree that:

• The AI coaching provided by the App is not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, or medical advice.
• In cases of severe relationship issues, domestic violence, abuse, or mental health concerns, you should seek professional help immediately.
• The App's suggestions and guidance are generated by AI and may not always be applicable to your specific situation.

The App may allow you to post, submit, publish, display, or transmit content such as messages, text, photos, and other materials ("User Content").

You retain ownership rights in your User Content. However, by providing User Content to the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such User Content throughout the world in any media for the purpose of providing and improving the App.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or control all rights in and to the User Content and have the right to grant the license granted above.
• All your User Content complies with these Terms and applicable law.

You understand and acknowledge that you are responsible for any User Content you submit or contribute, and you, not LoveDoc, have full responsibility for such content, including its legality, reliability, accuracy, and appropriateness.

You agree not to use the App to:

• Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, invasive of another's privacy, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization.
• Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the App.
• Use the App for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by these Terms.

The Couples Chat feature allows you to connect with a partner to share a chat space where both of you can interact with the AI coach.

By using this feature, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Messages sent in the Couples Chat will be visible to your connected partner.
• You should not share sensitive personal information that you do not want your partner to see.
• You are responsible for any information you choose to share in this space.
• You will not use the Couples Chat feature to harass, intimidate, or cause distress to your partner.

The App and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by LoveDoc Inc., its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

These Terms permit you to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our App, except as follows:

• Your computer may temporarily store copies of such materials in RAM incidental to your accessing and viewing those materials.
• You may store files that are automatically cached by your Web browser for display enhancement purposes.
• You may print or download one copy of a reasonable number of pages of the App for your own personal, non-commercial use and not for further reproduction, publication, or distribution.

You must not:

• Modify copies of any materials from the App.
• Delete or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices from copies of materials from the App.
• Access or use for any commercial purposes any part of the App or any services or materials available through the App.

LoveDoc may offer free and paid subscription options. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following terms:

• You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method the applicable subscription fee at the then-current rate.
• Subscriptions automatically renew for the same subscription period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting customer support.
• If you cancel, you may continue to use the subscription features until the end of your current billing period.
• We may change subscription fees at any time, but will provide notice before changes apply to you.
• Refunds are handled according to the platform through which you purchased the subscription (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play).

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. NEITHER LOVEDOC NOR ANY PERSON ASSOCIATED WITH LOVEDOC MAKES ANY WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION WITH RESPECT TO THE COMPLETENESS, SECURITY, RELIABILITY, QUALITY, ACCURACY, OR AVAILABILITY OF THE APP.

THE FOREGOING DOES NOT AFFECT ANY WARRANTIES WHICH CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

IN NO EVENT WILL LOVEDOC, ITS AFFILIATES OR THEIR LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, OR DIRECTORS BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP, ANY WEBSITES LINKED TO IT, ANY CONTENT ON THE APP OR SUCH OTHER WEBSITES, INCLUDING ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERSONAL INJURY, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA, AND WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE.

THE FOREGOING DOES NOT AFFECT ANY LIABILITY WHICH CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LoveDoc, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the App, including, but not limited to, your User Content, any use of the App's content, services, and products other than as expressly authorized in these Terms.

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule.

Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of, or related to, these Terms or the App shall be instituted exclusively in the federal courts of the United States or the courts of the State of California, although we retain the right to bring any suit, action, or proceeding against you for breach of these Terms in your country of residence or any other relevant country.

No waiver by LoveDoc of any term or condition set forth in these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of LoveDoc to assert a right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of the Terms will continue in full force and effect.

The Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any subscription terms constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and LoveDoc with respect to the App and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations and warranties, both written and oral, with respect to the App.
